2017 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Grantees
The following agencies are recipients of federal funding through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). They are the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership (The Partnership) delegate agencies. Delegate agencies provide services to job seekers and businesses throughout the Chicagoland region. Services are available to all residents of Cook County and are free.
Some delegate agencies provide specialized services such as our American Job Centers. American Job Centers provide a full range of assistance to job seekers under one roof. The centers offer training referrals, career counseling, job listings, and similar employment-related services. Customers can visit a center in person or connect to the center's information online or through kiosk remote access.
Sector Centers provide specialized services in specific areas of professional development. This year The Partnership is funding a Retail, Hospitality, IT and Healthcare sector centers.
The business intermediary provides special services to businessess in coordination with The Partnership's Business Relations and Economic Development team.
